Elementary Art

Our K-5 students are introduced to a wide array of art medias focusing on processes. Students will be introduced to ceramics, 3D molded forms, painting, collage, fibers, technology, 3D constructed forms, drawing, mixed media, and much more! At EKHLA we strive to let art be engaging and fun for every student. Students are encouraged to incorporate their everyday lives into their projects. Art is a segue used to help students reflect on universal themes and provoke thought about their identity in those themes. Students will be introduced to multiple master artists and their styles as well as some current artist.
